Ukraine is ready to cancel the summer/winter time switches following in the European Union’s footsteps.
The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade reported:
“Ukraine has adopted a policy of European integration, which provides for the implementation of European legislation. Ukraine uses the optimal procedure for calculating time, which is harmonized with the international practice of determining time, facilitating the adaptation of the entire range of international economic, cultural and other relations, being consistent with its geographical location,”
European Union is going to quit daylight saving time change as of October 2019.
